faults in binding production
1) the height of the book position in the round back
book clip and the height of the book thread running through the table are too low. The extension of the book thread should be controlled within 11mm ~ 12mm, and the position of the supporting plate should be increased; If the slotting knife is too high, the position of the slotting knife head should be lowered, and the depth of the book post groove should be controlled within 1.0mm
2) oblique endorsement
the glue temperature is too high, and the back of the book does not solidify when dropping the book. Adjust the glue temperature according to the paper and seasonal changes, generally controlled at 160C ~ 180C; If the machine speed is too fast, use glue with short curing time and reduce the machine speed; The opening of the book clip is too large. Adjust the thickness of the book post to 15mm. At the same time, narrow the international standard or industry standard to measure the physical properties of various materials. Experiment the book falling aisle and stop rod
3) the book binding opening and the cut part are not rectangular
the parallelism and perpendicularity of the supporting plate and the book holder should be adjusted to make the binding opening on the back of the book consistent up and down
4) the cover is glued
there is wild glue on the upper sealing roller, which sticks to the book cover, the bottom plate of the forming mechanism is glued, and the clamping plates on both sides are glued to seal one and four, so the remaining glue is often removed, and methyl silicone oil is used to prevent wild glue; If the gluing time of the back rubber wheel is too long and there is wild glue, the gluing time should be adjusted to avoid wild glue and reduce the glue temperature appropriately
5) the book cover is wrinkled or misaligned
the book position in the book clip is too high, and the position of the supporting plate should be raised; If the grooving cutter is too high, lower the position of the grooving cutter head; If the glue temperature is too low, increase the glue temperature; If there is glue left in the homogenizing stick, adjust the clearance between the scraping plates of the homogenizing stick to zero, and check the working condition of the heating pipe in the homogenizing stick; If the binding speed is too fast, reduce the machine speed and extend the drying time before cutting
6) the bar line
the book post is too high or the book position in the book clip is too low, the position of the supporting plate should be lowered; The grooving cutter is too low, and the position of the grooving cutter head should be raised; The side clamping force of the supporting mechanism is too large, and the position of the side clamping plate should be adjusted outward
7) bubble or honeycomb glue film
the book position in the book clip is too high and the supporting plate is too low, so the supporting plate position should be increased; If the temperature of the back glue is too low or the temperature of the homogenizing stick is too low, increase the temperature after measurement
8) the back of the book is cracked or squeezed too much
the book position in the book clip is low, and the position of the supporting plate should be lowered; If the pressure of the upper sealing roller is too large, ensure that the distance between the upper sealing roller and the bottom plane of the book clip body is 9mm, and there is too much glue on the upper rubber wheel. Adjust the gap between the upper rubber wheel and the rubber scraper to 0 5mm; The upper rubber wheel is too high, causing too much pressure. Ensure that the upper rubber wheel is in contact with the back of the book, which can push open the back of the book and make a small amount of glue penetrate into the page
9) the front of the book is split or flanged
the edge of the milling back knife is passivated. The knife edge should be sharpened and the glue should be removed frequently. It is best not to use this machine for repairing the book; The back milling cutter support disc is improperly adjusted and should be readjusted
10) scattered post
insufficient milling back depth; The groove depth and spacing of the grooving are improper, so that the depth of the trough is about 7.0mm and the spacing is between 5 10mm; The temperature of hot melt adhesive is too low, lacking fluidity and permeability, and bonding is not firm. The adhesive temperature should be increased according to the paper; If the selection of hot-melt adhesive is improper, the hot-melt adhesive equivalent to the weight specification of the paper should be selected. For coated paper books with high preservation value, avoid binding with hot-melt adhesive process, and adopt the method of sewing first and then gluing to prevent scattering
11) the middle part of the back of the book is uneven
the drop of the book when falling is too large, and a groove is made on the small connecting plate; Too high glue temperature makes the back of the book uneven when gluing; The grooving is not smooth, the paper wool does not fall off, and the back glue cannot be leveled; The back milling cutter is not sharp, the blade angle is wrong, or the gap with the backup plate is too large, resulting in the back milling is not smooth and uneven after gluing; The position of supporting plate is too low
13) wide book back
the slotting knife support plate is not aligned with the book clip; The upper sealing roller is too high, forming too much pressure on the back of the book; The rubber wheel on the back glue is too high, making the glue penetrate between the pages; The book block is loose and not tied tightly; The milling back is not smooth, and the waste classification and utilization is rough
14) the distance between the wedge-shaped
upper rubber wheel and the bottom plane of the book clip body is too small, and the position of the upper rubber wheel should be reduced
